Solid little desert campground. The scenery really worked for me — cool desert vibe — but might not be everyone’s thing. Campsites were a little close together, but not unbearable.

The lake is more like a pond and was completely packed with people fishing when I was there. One family was using loaves of sliced bread as bait — might be worth trying out? Hiking trails loop around the campground, decent for a walk but nothing impressive. Overall, worth checking out if you're already in the area.

Good stop, wouldn’t go out of my way but glad I hit it.
