I’m Ryan, and that’s Eli—my 1-year-old yellow lab and road trip sidekick. About a year ago, my apartment flooded, forcing me to relocate. That’s when I finally decided to chase a long-held dream and hit the road. I’ve been living full-time in my van ever since, traveling the country with Eli and figuring it out as we go.

Before this, I spent 10 years as a civil servant after enlisting in the Marine Corps. Now, I’m focused on keeping things simple, seeing as much as I can, and sharing the journey.
