Great little campground tucked away on Ocracoke Island. I was there in the off-season and the place was nearly empty, which was a plus. The real highlight is being just minutes from miles of untouched, nearly empty beach — it’s the kind of place where you can walk forever without seeing another person. Super quiet, super peaceful, and perfect for dogs.

Laundry facilities are technically there, but none of the machines were really usable. A little pricey, but understandable given the location. Only real knock is ease of access — you have to take a ferry to get there, which can be a hassle depending on timing. Not many sites, so beware and book in advance if you're going during tourist season.
