This is going to be one of the highest ratings. Bunch of campsites with lakefront views, great walking areas, and a wide open section of the park that used to be a beach but is now just open space — perfect for wandering. Great spot for the dog, let him in the water with no issues. Not many people around, which is a big plus for me.

If you're looking for a campground with a social, community vibe, this probably isn’t it — but personally, I prefer the quiet. I was there in April, so that could have something to do with it. Stayed for a week total.
Laundry facilities ⚠️ may exist, but I didn’t see them (to be fair, I wasn’t really looking). Cell service ⚠️ was spotty.
Definitely worth a visit.
